Are You Going To A Party?

During this holiday season you may be invited to a party or two.  Parties can be lots of fun, but there’s one party you really should avoid.

On this short video (3:12) I point out the one party to avoid this year.  And I also give you some good advise in case you happen to find yourself right in the middle of one of those parties!

Enjoy the video.

  1. Mike, you’ve done it AGAIN!! Your walking with God has resulted in yet ANOTHER timely and encouraging message, just when folks need it the most……………Your “Pitty Party” message is current, resonant, and a relevant message in this atmoshphere, during this time of year. I certainly have been VERY encouraged to keep an eye out for kind of activity, and help to encourage where ever and when ever I kind along these lines……….

    Thanks again and God Bless

This time of year can be difficult for a number of people. We can certainly look for opportunities to encouraged those we come into contact with.
    God bless you,

It is a great time to help people. In fact, any time of year is a good time.

  4. Mike,
A woman that has helped me with other than everyday cleaning in my home had alot of awful things going on in her life. She first came to me with a down heart and letting me know how bad things are in her life. I did just as you are saying. We talked about where the things were coming from in John 10:10 and how God wishes above all things for her to prosper and to be in health. I have shared God’s word with her and provided her with the exhortation she really needed. Told her that she could start up her own company instead of working for someone else and begin to take charge of her life and ask God to go before her. We prayed together. After alot of time with her she has started her own business and is making very good changes. Her changes are great and according to God’s will for her now. I will continue to work with her and thank you for reminding us to not side with folks that want only pity, but to deliver God’s word to them. For He sent His word to heal! Love You so much Brother. Isn’t it great when you really help someone? Yes there are those who only want pity, but there are those who not only need help, but have a desire to change. Great story!
(Oklahoma sure got a lot of snow – stay safe!)
    God bless you,
    Mike
