How Brutal Was It?

During this time of year many are mindful of the sufferings that Jesus Christ endured on our behalf, reflecting on the price he paid for the redemption of mankind.

I posted this this short video (1:54) last year. I point out three different versions of Isaiah 52:14, a verse that graphically prophesied the extreme physical punishment that Jesus would endure for all of mankind.

Jesus Christ is alive! God raised him from the dead to die no more.

Enjoy the video.

  1. Mike, I have read and heard things like this before and it absolutely makes me sick that we don’t realize how much He suffered for us. I repent everytime. (lol…old lady problem). This is really good…thanks again for the reminder. I pray you and your family have a good Easter weekend. I appreciate getting your Conifidence and Joy mailings,

  2. Rosie, he truly paid the price for all of us – to be brutalized by Roman soldiers for hours is hard to even comprehend. Then, hanging in what must have been excruciating pain for 6 hours, and finally, he laid down his life for all of mankind. He paid the price so that we could have salvation and eternal life.

  3. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, went through a punishment that no man on earth here could have endured! Oh, the price HE PAID for YOU and ME! [Then why do WE sit AT HOME at our computers, playing games and gossiping on Facebook, when we SHOULD BE spreading the Gospel, FACE TO FACE with others? Are you afraid of rejection? JESUS the Christ, the Messiah, was rejected by his fellow men! We, CHRISTIANS have a RESPONSIBILITY to the world, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”[John 3:16, 17, and 18] GOD RAISED UP JESUS CHRIST from among the dead! He[God], will raise US up from the dead, too, at the “Return of Jesus Christ”[Romans 10:9, and 10],”That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ[make him Lord of your life], and believe in your heart that GOD raised him from the dead, you shall be saved from utter destruction. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation”.[The New Birth” [1 Thessalonians 4:13-18] Please READ and be COMFORTED!!!!!
