What Do You Pray For?

Do you pray for big things?  How about small things?  Are there things that you don’t feel comfortable about going to God in prayer?

On this short video (2:17) I point out your feelings about going to God in prayer are a good indication of your confidence toward God. I share a very helpful tip in increasing your confidence to go to Him in prayer whether it’s something little, or something big.

Enjoy the video.

  1. great visual with the “big, small, medium” !!!!! Great reminder to pray for it all……praying for something while it is small concern may prevent it from becoming something big….

  2. Hi Mike! Thanks for the video!
I know sometimes we find it hard to go to God in prayer over big, medium and small things because we mess it up with our minds and ask “how”…”How” can God do this or that…”how can God fix this or that”….well, when we pray, it isn’t necessary to know “HOW” God is going to do something; what is cool is to know that He will and can do it as long as it is according to His will…so the “How” doesn’t matter….He, God, says pray and so are responsibility is to do just that. We don’t need to be concerned with the “how” and figuring it all out…that should not deter us from prayer. God says, “Lean not unto your own understanding….” and He means what He says. So I have learned to go to Him regardless and my biggest challenge is to not lean unto my own understanding! It is so human to want to know “how”, but it is not necessary..He just asks us to believe. He that made the eye, can He not see? He that made the ear, can He not hear? He that gave His only begotten son for us, will He not give us all things? He that created the heavens and the earth for us is there anything too hard for Him? Is there anything He wouldn’t care about concerning His children?
Love, Carol God bless you !!! 🙂

  3. Hi Carol!
    Thanks for leaving a comment.
You are absolutely right – the “how” is indeed His job. We pray, and then we can look for, expect, anticipate God bringing it to pass.
    God bless you,
    Mike

  4. Sometimes I can get weighed down by the cares of this world and I have to remember to cast my cares on God because he cares for us. I thank God for his grace and mercy. And for helping us grow in,Hesus. It gives us comfort that God hears us when we pray. God bless your ministry!!!
