Who You Gonna Trust?

It’s Another Podcast!

It was never the intention of the Founding Fathers to guarantee happiness for everyone.  Being happy and taken care of is not anyone’s birthright.  The intent of the Founders was rather to allow each individual’s pursuit of their own happiness.

I posted an article a couple of weeks ago about this topic and I thought I would share some of that with you in this short podcast (6:53).

Should our trust be in our God, taking responsibility for our own lives, or, should we look to and expect our government to take care of us?

  1. Mike, this is a really good Podcast…they are always good but I totally agree with this one….God didn’t save us to be mooches. Thanks for sending these, I really appreciate them. There was a family that went to our church and they finally moved out West but they were skilled mooches. We had them in our home for awhile and finally the pastor sent word that we were to send them on their way with no guilt. They just seemed to think the world would take care of them…She was an RN and he designed computer boards…and they couldn’t earn a living for some reason. Sad. Rosie West (Larry, too.)

  2. Thanks for the comment, Rosie. Yes it is sad that there are Christians who have forgotten that their sufficiency is God and that He can make a way. His promises are really true. Inspires me to keep teaching on having confidence in God. Meanwhile, we love people and do the best we can to help them.
