Then, three days and three nights later, an angel spoke three more victorious words: “He is risen.” Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.

Today, believers all around the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  He is alive.  Death no longer has any power over him.

While we rejoice today that God did indeed raise His Son from the dead, let’s rejoice every day by accepting what the Bible says he accomplished for us. Let’s believe that through his finished work we really have remission and forgiveness of sins and that we have been made righteous in the Father’s eyes.

And as we go through our lives, both the highs and the lows, let’s keep in mind there is a day coming when God will send His Son back to gather us together, and we will meet him in the air.  Because of Christ’s finished work, and because God raised him from the dead, at that moment, death will be swallowed up in victory!

It Is Finished!
He Is Risen!
He’s Coming Back!
