People talk about God testing them, or God having a reason for this and for that.  It all adds up to blaming God.

  2. Amen to what Danielle wrote.
    I usually blame myself for what happens(!) and that’s not always fair either. Sometimes we have it coming…but it is never God’s will to nail us. Jesus Christ nailed all that to the tree.
    I heard this neat explanation. Even if you are walking with your child, holding his hand and he trips, falls and hurts himself, it still doesn’t mean you meant it to happen. There’s another force at work and we need to quit helping him do his dirty deeds by misquoting God and misappropriating (try spelling that one time slow!) his destructions to God. Thanks again Mike. Your stuff is always so very timely.

    If God is testing me with my particlar health problems at the moment…then I would find myself a new God! Secondly, I don’t believe God needs the Devil’s help to see how much we love and trust Him!
