This is Memorial Day Weekend, as tomorrow is officially Memorial Day. I have a video below of Martin McBride.
Formerly known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day commemorates men and women who died while in military service to the United States. First enacted to honor Union and Confederate soldiers following the American Civil War, it was extended after World War I to honor all Americans who have died in all wars.
I am grateful for those who paid the ultimate price so we can live in a free nation. And I pray for our leaders here in the United States that they make sound, right decisions so that those we remember this weekend did not die in vain.
May God continue to bless America and shed His grace on us.
