When our kids were growing up, we told them many times, “You need to change your attitude.” Why? Because attitude is a game changer.
What is your attitude about the direction of your life? How do you feel about your life today, right now? For most people, if things are going well, their attitude is good. But when things are not going well, their attitude is lousy.
Much has been written and taught about attitude, and you’ve probably heard different things over the years. Someone once said,
The topic of the very first article I posted on this blog is still very relevant. It was titled, “How Big is Your God?” That question is quite relevant every single day.
Whether we realize it or not, we direct most of our lives by our own perspective. And perspective has nothing to do with what happens to us, or what situation we are facing. Many situations we face are not a result of our decisions or choices. Our perspective, however, is our choice.

There’s more in the news lately about the horrendous atrocities regarding the persecution of Christians in certain parts of the world. The barbaric behavior of some religious fanatics is taking cruelty to new heights. Our brothers and sisters in those parts of the world need our prayers, to say the least.
So with all that going on, does it seem like their needs are a much bigger priority than your needs or mine? Our lives are not in danger. Do we really need to bother our heavenly Father with our needs right now, with all that is going on elsewhere?

Right before he died, Jesus Christ exclaimed, “It is finished!” After his resurrection, the angel declared, “He is risen.”
And, He’s Coming Back!
During this time of year we are mindful of the sufferings that Jesus Christ endured on our behalf. We reflect on the price paid for the redemption of mankind.
In this short video (3:16) I point out three different versions of Isaiah 52:14, a verse that very graphically prophesied the extreme physical punishment that Jesus would endure for all of mankind.
The great message at Easter time is that Jesus Christ is alive! God raised him from the dead to die no more.
And, he is coming back!

I really enjoyed reading Roger’s book. It is simple, straightforward, and very practical. It not only answers questions Christians have asked about finances, but it adds a vital dimension and perspective few talk about. I highly recommend it!
