The Two Extremes

It’s Another Podcast!

Sitting in my office yesterday morning, after preparing for our Glendale Fellowship, I had some thoughts.  And as I pondered for awhile, I thought maybe I ought to do a podcast about it.

But, then I wondered if it would just end up being a rant! Well you can decide on that.  I’d like to hear your thoughts on this, so leave a comment after you listen to it.

Even though I have been teaching the Bible for 34 years, I still consider myself a student; I keep learning and growing in my understanding.  It seems to me that when it comes to spiritual beliefs, there are two extremes.  What do you think?

Hi Mike ! God bless You !
I do not think you are ranting and raving, it sounds to me like you very much want folks to have the Truth and spoken to them in love.
The “group thing” comes from folks in the Body of Christ that know some Bible. The “religious stuff” comes from the same, as well as traditions of man and also those that are not in the Body of Christ. But the greatest is the promise of God, who says all those that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled! It is up to the individual in the Body of Christ or not in the Body of Christ yet, to really want to know the accurate truth on a consistent basis so they can profit. It is God that gives the increase, after a person can hear some truth spoken to them in love. He knows the extent and desire of a person that wants TRUTH in their lives and he will give to everybody according to their personal desire; He has some miraculous ways of doing it! :) As you say we keep learning, well then if we keep learning, we evidently have a desire to know God, our Father, and his son, Jesus Christ, better everyday and choose to learn from the greatest revelation that God ever gave and that is His Word. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Whew…..Isn’t that something! :) Are the words that we hear proceeding out of the mouth of God? Are we concerned with studying to find the accurate truth of what God is saying? He knows….
