What The World Really Needs Now

It’s Another Podcast!

Do you want to hear what I shared last Saturday at the Mission?

Back in the 60’s, Jackie DeShannon had hit song called, “What the World Needs Now is Love.”  Saturday night I taught at the Phoenix Rescue Mission and told them that what the world really needs now, is hope.

Yes, we all still need love, but people need hope today more than ever before.  There are lots of people who are facing what seems like hopeless situations.  Others are losing hope.

In this podcast(45:55), you will hear what I shared with those 80 homeless men.  Find out what hope in God really is, and why it is so important.  Discover how to get hope in God, or how to rekindle hope in God that is no longer there.

Enjoy the podcast!

Just changed my face book page last night (before seeing this). Added God called Gideon “mighty man of valor while he was hiding behind winepress.”
I have been acting like Gideon during that stage of his life. This was hugely helpful. I really love it when God reaches right down and puts His finger on your heart…and fixes it.
Thanks again.
I would love to share this with several others but do people need to subscribe themselves or can I forward?
God bless you. Jeannie

Jeannie, I am so glad this was helpful. We really do need to see the great potential that God sees in us, and then, with His help, we can live as more than conquerors.
No, people don’t need to subscribe – just send them the link: hppt://www.ComfidenceAndJoy.com
God bless you,
Mike

Told someone about this and then listened to it again (I think this is the 4th time)…to make sure it was how I remembered. Ahhh, God’s word is so encouraging, refreshing, uplifting, motivating, etc, etc, etc.
Thanks!

Put your focus on who God is~His great ability, resources, power and how much He loves you, that never-ending, great love from which absolutely nothing can separate us~great advice!

Thank you for an absolutely awesome teaching of one of my favorite OT records. I’ve always loved this account of overcoming the enemy against all odds, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you hold forth the truth of just how far God is willing to go for us, His kids, when we look to Him and expect solutions to our problems, whatever they may be. ‘God would have us keep moving forward’~amen, brother! Onward and upward :)

Thanks, Chere. God has solutions we’ve never even thought of.
