A Visit To Shell Beach

This video was taken this past Sunday at Shell Beach, California.  Kathy and I took a long weekend to visit some friends.

I was way overdue for a change of scenery, which is an excellent way to regroup and get refreshed.

Enjoy the video.

  1. Good morning,
I so enjoy your newsletters, and this one was right on time. I’ve been thinking of changes I want to make in my life and what things are in my control. I understand the things you have shared with us and so agree.
I’m not able to go to CA, but I did enjoy your Shell Beach. I could almost feel God’s presence as I look at the video. I do need a vacation, I’m way over do. I am so richly blessed that at times I just want to share it with everyone.
Thank you for your newsletter, your shareing and your careing.
    Have a blessed day.

  2. Hi WillieMae!
Thanks for your kind comments – they are really appreciated.
I would suggest that you plan “something.” – even if it’s an hour drive out of town. Honestly, we had been just thinking about our trip for a long time without making any definite plans. We finally picked a date.
    God bless you!
    Mike

  3. Hi Mike: What a timely video . We took some time a couple of weeks ago to go north in Colorado and visit some cool places, Estes Park, Rocky Mt. Nat’l Park, Grand Lake, Vail and Glenwood Springs. It was so relaxing to get out of our usual routine and go into the beautiful mountains of Colorado. This next week we are going to go south and west from Pagosa Springs, to Cortez and Mesa Verde Nat’l Park to Page, AZ and Lake Powell. It gives us a chance to as you said regroup, set some more goals for the future and spend some time talking to God and eachother. We are so thankful for your sharings through the years and of course this one in particular.
    Love,
    Dan and Joan

  4. Hi Dan and Joan!
    Thanks so much for commenting.
Lots of beautiful places in Colorado – my home state. Estes is really beautiful.
Have a great time next week coming into Arizona, my neck of the woods. There is plenty of variety in this state.
    God bless you,
    Mike

  5. Cool video – I love visiting the central coast! And my trip this summer was just what I needed to re-group for the summer work and the coming semester. I’m the most relaxed of any of us here I think.

  6. Hi Mike The Younger!
I’m glad your trip this summer was just what you needed, and I’m glad you’re ready to tackle another semester.
    God bless you,
    Mike
