  1. Dear Mike,
Thanks for the great article. I try hard not to verbalize negatives however I do recall saying the “Hanging in there…” remark a time or two (hundred) in reply to questions asked when I had stubbed my proverbial toe once again. Totally unacceptable for a seasoned believer, I know. Thank God we have a saviour and therefore no cause for condemnation! Nevertheless, the reminder was priceless.
I appreciated the straight forward directives…which were easy to implement and practical.
There have been times at my job when it was just so uncomfortable that I did not want to go in, but in those cases I asked for God’s intervention and (voila!) I got to work and things were copacetic. God hears our prayers. He honors our faithfulness. We can stay joyful AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS by refusing to simply verbalize the circumstances rather… the confidence that God can deliver to the uttermost! One does not have to be eloquent to pray or to be a witness for God. Many times, my prayers have been no longer than…”Help!” …and He did. God is good and I am so thankful for men and women who continue to herald His word. God bless you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. There is power in that name and power in His Word.

  2. You make a lot of great points, Jeannie. And I like what you said about not needing to be eloquent in order to pray.
    Thanks and God bless you,
    Mike
