Were You Unfairly Laid Off?

Many people have lost their jobs.  A number of those who have been laid off feel that they were terminated unfairly.

If you were fired, or you know someone who has been laid off, this video offers some great insight on what to do now.  This video shows two important keys on how to move forward after losing your job.

I experienced an “economic layoff” last December. I am now on a new adventure. I choose to not live in the past; I am moving forward.

Enjoy the video. It’s about two and a half minutes long.

  1. May 7th I had the shock of my life. I was working as a site safety and health manager on a rather big government job. as safety officers are responsible to do I reported hazardous conditions, pointed out that there were some changes that needed to happen. Well 11 accidents later I got laid off. Mind you I was not ALOUD to make these changes myself I was told I didnt have enough experience yet. Anyway long story short. I was told I was being laid off due to not needing 4 safety officers on site anymore. But..heres the kicker… in 3 days they filled my chair with someone who had no experience to train to be the next 4th safety officer. And there is alot more to this story but what can I do?

    • Billie,
I know from experience what you feel like and what you are going through.
The reality is, why they did what they did does not matter now; the decision has been made and you must direct your mind forward.
Thinking and dwelling on what happened will only keep you back there, and, hinder you from moving forward.
I know, easier said than done, but trust me, it’s the best way to start on a new path.
I’ll send you an email with some other thoughts.
Look to God as your supplier and ask Him to direct your path.
