Do You Need More Time?

It’s Another Podcast!

At the convention I attended last weekend in Charlotte, the key note speaker was Darren Hardy.  It was quite a treat to listen to him share some real gems with us.

I wanted to share a couple of those gems with you and they are about time.  So, if you could use a little extra time, this short podcast (7:57) will give you two very practical keys.

He Specializes In Things Called Impossible

It’s Another Podcast!

Recently I had the privilege of teaching at The Phoenix Rescue Mission.  I go there and teach on the 5th Saturday of the month.

I’ve been doing this now for around 5 years. They have been doing a great work there for many, many years.  They are changing lives, one person at a time.

Whenever I go I try to bring a message of hope and encouragement to the 80 or 90 men that I am speaking to.

In the days and times that you and I are living in, I thought the topic I covered recently would be helpful and practical.  Our God still specializes in things called impossible.  Take a little time and enjoy this teaching.

4 Super Bowl Rings!

Tomorrow is “Super Bowl Sunday.”  For some fans, this is “Super Bowl Weekend!”  And, so I thought I would put up a link to a podcast that I did awhile back about someone who is more that just a Super Bowl winner

5 years ago I was the emcee at an event and introduced Rocky Bleier, the keynote speaker.

Rocky is a wonderful man, full of life and enthusiasm, and he gave a very inspiring presentation. I really enjoyed it.

Rocky was part of winning the Superbowl 4 times with the Pittsburg Steelers.  He is also a Vietnam Veteran.

I hope you enjoy his inspiring story on this Past Podcast. Go For It!

By the way, even though I am inspired by Rocky’s story, I am still cheering for the Packers.

Children’s Stories?

It’s Another Podcast!

There are countless books written for children.  Many of them have exciting stories that are fun and entertaining.

Some people view many accounts in the Bible as nice “children’s stories.”  But those records are not fairy tales or fables.  And, they are not just stories for little children.

In this short podcast (7:55) I’ll tell you why those “stories” are in the Bible, and, I’ll challenge you to see if one of those “stories” is really relevant to your life in this modern world we live in.

Is He Really Willing?

It’s Another Podcast!

Most Christians readily accept that God is powerful and able to do all that He says He can do and more.  But when it comes to God doing something for them, personally, many have a hard time accepting that God is willing.

In this short podcast (17:33) I want to share with you two simple, but critical keys that will help you in accepting and believing that God is not only able, but that He is also willing to bring His promises to pass for you personally.

The Haves And Have-Nots

It’s Another Podcast!

There is a lot of debate going on here in US on whether the current tax cuts should be extended, eliminated or revised.

There are some who believe that if you earn over 250,000 a year you are wealthy and need to pay a lot more in taxes.

This short podcast (5:24) is not about who should be taxed what.  Rather it is a reminder to not allow loud rhetoric to mold how you think about certain people, whether rich or poor.

A Matter Of Personal Opinion

It’s Another Podcast!

We all have our own personal opinions about lots of things, don’t we?  But there are times when we allow the opinions of others to determine our opinions.

Yesterday’s article in The Pep Letter was entitled, “Are You Stupid?”  It was all about your opinion of yourself. I wanted to elaborate a little more on that topic.

It’s Your Attitude

It’s Another Podcast!

I’ve used the slang word, “tude,” a few times; have you?  It’s usually used in a negative sense.  “That guy had a real tude.”  It means the person had a real bad attitude.
