In The Beginning
Last January while teaching in the state of Washington, I read the first verse of the Bible. I really over emphasized the word “heaven,” and downplayed the word “earth.”
Many are familiar with the first verse of the Bible, which says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” I think it is noteworthy the heavens are mentioned first.
It is both stunning and remarkable to consider just how big the heavens really are. The pictures below
