  1. Hi Mike ! I enjoyed tour podcast very much! “How to build TRUST in God.” The record of David and Goliath is one of my favorites concerning that subject….David had not tested the armour that he was told to wear when he was going out to confront Goliath. So he took it off..it was cumbersome to him and he didn’t know how to deal with it on. But what he had tested was his trust in God and so he confronted Goliath with his normal everyday clothes and his talent he had with a sling shot and KNOWING God was with him always. He had built that trust in God over the years. He came to know God and that in knowing Him it was the way he could be victorious in all situations regardless of what they might be. Pretty neat !! 🙂 It is so important for us to know God personally in our own lives to the point of trusting Him before we can genuinely help others. As you know I had been ill for one year to the day.. April 11 /10 to April 11/ 11. I had nothing but negative circumstances and heard nothing but negative reports until April 11/ 11. I had to study my disease, research doctors and rely on God as there was no one else around. My life was on the line literally for 12 months..not just sort of on the line, but on the line. Yes, I had some pretty horrible feelings..I even got kicked out of one hospital because they did not know what to do with one of my zillion infections and shrugged it off with a ridiculous reason. I ‘decided’ to learn the facts on my own and trust God because had I not, I would have been dead. All this I am relaying to you because I had to build a very close relationship with God through the whole thing. When I became more confident, it was then on April 11/11 that I started hearing positive reports and seeing positive results and I was healed. And I got to ‘see’ a little of what David had to do in his life.
Putting off and putting on… 🙂 Have I arrived ? NO!!!!! Because there will be many other cicumstances in my life before I fall asleep and it will be the same course of events I will have to do to come out victorious with God…again and again and again because that is life. But it sure is wonderful to know that through whatever we face there is always a solution with God ! <3 🙂
God bless you tons, Mike !!! 🙂 carol 🙂

    • Hi Carol your story is pretty interesting for me as I’m currently in a similar situation. I have a condition which has basically affected my entire life, changed the very way I live and I’ve had it for as long as I can remeber can’t even imagine a time without it. I’ve recently been looking to God to heal me but everytime an opportunity for a procedure to cure it comes up it seems to always get cancelled at the last minute. It’s happened more than once and is very disheartening and in addition no cure seems available. I’m really struggling to trust God on this as it’s been so hard on me. Worst part being the condition is one which is very visible and cannot be hidden it’s for the world to see and I gave a lot of rejection and pity wherever I go and that just breaks my heart. Any advice or spiritual guidance on the steps u took u can offer would be much appreciated. I’m so scared to trust God and be faced with further disappointment. I’m not sure if I can face anymore failures and rejection. Thank u and God bless u

  2. Carol, thanks for sharing that good news!
Our God is good, and regardless of the circumstances we can trust that what He said He would do, He will do!
